The Distributor Meeting by BMS BJ
The distributor meeting of Bayer MaterialScience (Beijing) Co. Ltd. (BMS BJ) was held in August 2011 in Beijing. 18 distributors from Beijing and BMS BJ key functional departments’ staff attended this meeting, which includes the whole sales department, technical support, customer service and communications department.
The new sales channel development blue print was introduced in this meeting by Mr. Zhao Junping, Head of Sales/Agency Management Department. To achieve mutual benefit and a win-win situation in the future, BMS BJ is strengthening cooperation and communication with distributors and is providing even closer technical support and service.
Firstly, Mr. Zhao gave a general introduction of all BMS BJ products and various applications of PC sheet. Then, the technical specialist explained the installation details of all kind of joints, followed with special technical introduction of the new product – 5X 40mm inter-locking sheet. This is the first time BMS BJ sent over professional person to give the distributors such an exclusive training about products and technics behind. Distributors all felt being treated with high importance and benefiting a lot from this kind of face-to-face communication. Furthermore, successful projects achievement display by Mr. Li Jingyong, Head of Key Account Management Department, opened up the distributors’ horizons in how BMS BJ won those big projects with high quality products, advanced technology and solutions and thoughtful service. It boosted up distributors’ confidence in winning big projects in the future.
In the last session, Beijing Jingguang Pute Technology & Trade Co. Ltd., who is one of the distributors with the longest business relationship with BMS BJ, shared its profound experiences. Its manager emphasized the most important thing in the cooperation with BMS BJ over so many years is, stick to the principles of only selling real Bayer sheets from BMS BJ. This not only protected the reputation of BMS BJ and Bayer as the mother company, but also built up the trust between customers and the distributors. Now BMS BJ will place stronger forces to assist distributors in business development. We even can expand a brighter future together.
Finally, all distributors had a deep discussion with our colleagues from different departments about the future cooperation with Bayer and operating problems encountered before.
In the second morning, distributors and BMS BJ had a team building activity. With joint efforts, we reached the top of the Fragrance Hill!
